Marc Chandler, Managing Partner at Bannockburn Global ForEx and Editor of the Marc To Market website to recap the strong BLS jobs data released this morning, the Fed meeting and press conference, and what factors/data markets are trading off of. We look at market moves compared to the soft landing vs recession vs economic growth narrative and how Fed rate cut expectations are factoring in. We also discuss market breadth, which is looked at negatively but over the last year has been in a continued strong market.

Musk’s company Neuralink is putting chips in human brains under the guise of making humans smarter. What it really involves is programming humans even more than they already are. If you own a cell phone and you buy smart appliances and there is a power outage you can use your cell phone to turn your smart appliances back on after the power returns. How smart is that. I thought a refrigerator would turn itself on when the power returns, apparently not. Some smart appliances require a smart person to control their functions, when the smart device tells them it is time.

Take some people who have occupations that they go to College or University and when they retire they look at the World through the training they had with their jobs. Now we have smart communications that can teach the smart members of our society that it is time to reprogram their brains. Because life changes and smart people can be reprogrammed to think differently. Isn’t the future wonderful. DT 😏

My brain is fine but need something to juice my heart, which doesn’t work very well.
